On one ear, the cuff's decorative beaded section curls upward along the inner portion of the outer ear. A longer wire passes behind the ear to help secure it, while a hand-worked spiral provides strength and stability to the structure.

On the opposite ear, a pierced earring picks up the same curling line, beginning at the earlobe and sweeping downward instead. Together, the two pieces mirror one another without matching exactly—one climbing, one falling.
