Meet the Artist

Every treasure has a story—and mine began with a need for a little self-care.

By day, I’m a mental health therapist with Rising Hope Counseling in New Ulm, Minnesota. I work with people across the lifespan and specialize in autism assessments, alternative approaches for neuro-sparkly individuals, early childhood mental health, and women’s health.

Jewelry making began as a creative escape: something I did for my own enjoyment and to create meaningful gifts for family and friends. Then my inner dragon took over. I fell in love with the colors, textures, and endless possibilities—and before long, my jewelry cabinet was overflowing with treasure.

There were only two choices: stop creating or share my growing hoard with others. Since you’re here, you can probably guess which one I chose.

My creativity has since expanded beyond jewelry into other forms of wire-and-bead art, including whimsical suncatchers designed to bring a little color, light, and magic into everyday spaces.

Every piece I make is a one-of-a-kind adventure. I rarely know exactly where the creative process will lead when I begin. I work with reclaimed elements from previously loved jewelry, along with semiprecious stones, glass, metal, and resin beads. Most of my designs are shaped with copper or copper-core artisan wire, with occasional pieces crafted from sterling silver or gold-filled wire.

Each creation is made by hand, guided by curiosity, and chosen for a place in the hoard. I hope you find a treasure that speaks to your own wonderfully unique spirit—and that you enjoy wearing it every bit as much as I enjoyed creating it.
