Some treasures take a little longer to find their purpose.

This vintage watch face was purchased new approximately 30–35 years ago with every intention of becoming part of a handmade watch. Instead, it waited patiently in my creative stash until inspiration finally caught up with it.

I've added handmade wire attachment clasps at each end, allowing the watch face to be paired with my handmade interchangeable watch bands. Choose the band that suits you today, change it when the fancy strikes—or collect several and give the same watch an entirely different personality.

The watch face and each interchangeable band are sold separately, so you can create exactly the combination you want. Look for the coordinating bands in the Flights of Fancy collection.

A new battery was installed approximately two months ago, and the quartz movement has been tested and is keeping time well.
