Created as the companion to The Lady Emerges Necklace, this cuff carries the rich purples, dramatic black-and-white contrasts, and warm copper wirework of the necklace into a design all its own.

Gray matte faceted beads echo the granite found in the necklace, while variegated purple stone beads reflect the shifting shades of its amethyst. Rather than simply stringing the stones, I worked them into an open grid of copper wire, then framed the design with additional copper wire for stability. The looping wire moves over and around the beads, giving the bracelet a slightly organic structure that complements the extensive wirework of The Lady Emerges Necklace.

Although technically a cuff, I wanted a little extra reassurance that this particular treasure wouldn't wander away. A handmade wire loop extends from one end and slips over the end stone on the opposite side, providing additional security while maintaining the open character of the cuff.

At approximately 6 inches, this is one of my smaller bracelets and is best suited for a smaller wrist.
